Hello Everyone! Well, it looks like winter will be here sooner than we think with the cold temperatures we have been having this week!
We will soon be marking the trails as the crops are coming off the land. Randy Kroes and George Kling will keep us informed as to when we can start. George will contact those that signed up at the meeting.
Our Food Drive at the November meeting was a success! Members brought in canned goods and gave cash donations for the Food Pantry! Thank you to Joanne Kroes for donating her delicious pies to be auctioned off at the meeting to help raise money. Also, thank you to Kenny Parker for taking the canned goods and donations to the Food Pantry!
This year we will again be participating in the Burlington Christmas Parade! The parade is on Friday, December 5th at 6:30pm. You can check it out on Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce website under “Events” for details. We are having a float in the parade! If you are interested in participating in either building the float or in being a part of the parade, please contact Julie. Otherwise, bring your family to the parade and cheer us on!
Our Christmas Party is Saturday, December 13th at The Racine Round About Bar & Grill—North Star Banquet Hall starting at 5pm! The invitation is enclosed with this newsletter. Remember, you need to have your Club Membership Dues paid for by the Christmas party in order to participate!! Family Membership is $40 and Single Membership is $25. You can send either cash or a check (made out to the Caledonia Sno-Lords) to myself with your RSVP for the Christmas Party. My address is listed on the invite.
Also, due by the Christmas party is your $25/person non-refundable deposit for the Club Trip! The trip is at the Muskie River Lodge in Tomahawk, WI on February 4th-8th, 2015. See Pam Willms at the party or give her a call.
We will be having a brief meeting at the Christmas Party, so I hope to see you all there! It’s going to be a great time!
Sincerely,
Julie Reuter
